完整说明:

我刚才谈到美国总统当选人拜登。 I 表示热烈的祝贺 and thanked him for the patriotic message he delivered last night. I also called Kamala Harris to congratulate her on her historic 选举 to the vice presidency. Though we have political differences, I know Joe Biden to be a good man, who has 韩元 his opportunity to lead 和 统一我们的国家. The President-elect reiterated that while he ran as a Democrat, he will govern for all Americans. I offered him the same thing I offered Presidents Trump 和 Obama: my prayers for his success, 和 my pledge to help in any way I can.

I want to congratulate President Trump 和 his supporters on a hard-fought campaign. He earned the votes of more than 70 million Americans – an extraordinary political achievement. They have spoken, 和 their voices will continue to be heard through elected Republicans at every level of government.

The fact that so many of our fellow citizens participated in 这个 选举 is a positive sign of the health of our democracy 和 a reminder to the world of its strength. No matter how you voted, your vote counted. President Trump has the right to request recounts 和 pursue legal challenges, 和 any 未解决的问题将得到适当裁定。美国人民可以相信 this election 从根本上讲是公平的,它的完整性 will be upheld, 和 its outcome is clear.

The challenges that face our country will demand the best of President-elect Biden 和 Vice President-elect Harris – 和 the best of us all.  We must come together for the sake of our families 和 neighbors, 和 for our nation 和 its future. There is no problem that will not yield to the gathered will of a free people. Laura 和 I pray for our leaders 和 their families. We ask for God’对我们国家的持续祝福。我们敦促所有美国人加入我们的行列 wishing our next President 和 Vice President well as they prepare to take up their important duties.
